Publisher Description
Love comics? Hate viewing comics on mobile web? Want to automatically bookmark the comic strips that you've been reading? Pageflip is the free webcomic reader you've been looking for! Set up a comic reading list and view comic strips the way they're meant to be on mobile - full width with zooming and panning options to read comics easily in a format you emjoy.
Browse your favorite web comics and cartoons such as Dilbert, Cyanide and Happiness, Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal and Penny Arcade with ease and make all your friends jealous! You're not only limited to the latest comic pages either. Pageflip lets you go all the way back to the start with every comic so you can view the full range of comic strips. We also value all the work that talented authors have put into these web comics so we've added links to the authors donation page to each comic so you can support them if you like :)
COMIC READER FEATURES:
* Auto bookmarking - comics and cartoons you read will save where you left off automatically.
* Customizable catalogue - add your favorite cartoons to your homepage for easy access from a catalogue of supported comics. No need to enter URLs or waste time navigating around.
* Quick and simple navigation - supports swiping to go back and forth, as well as offers buttons to go to first, previous, random, next and last web comics. Also allows pinch and double tap to zoom. Please note not every comic / cartoon allows you all of those navigation options so some of these will be disabled depending on which comic is being read.
* Easy sharing - had a laugh about a cartoon you just read and want to re-post to every social media account you have? Perfect! This comic browser makes it easy to share your favorite comic strips at the touch of a button!
* Open source comic support - we're dedicated to an open list of supported digital comics. We are not an exclusive service and I'm personally always looking for new material so I've opened up adding comics to this app to everyone. Instructions on how to add supported web comics and examples of currently supported cartoons can be found here https://github.com/oseparovic/comic_selectors. You can also vote to add new comic books in the app if you don't want to spend the time coding it yourself.
